Couple in Love

Love is in the air!

The week of Valentines is upon us and the world embarks on the journey of sharing love.

To be honest, I’m not normally one to do too much on Valentines Day except spend some quality time with Sylvia (my girlfriend.. P.S. I love you!). However, this year feels a little different. This year is bigger than most and this year I wanted to ensure all of you have a fantastic Valentines Day.

Love Heart

Why Spread the Love?

Valentines is always a funny day. You get two camps.: Those that love it and those that don’t want to have anything to do with it 🙂

For those that don’t know, I founded Australia’s largest social group for people in their 20’s (if you’re in Sydney or travelling through, make sure you come say hi!). Interestingly, a member of the group has created an event titled ‘Anti-Valentines Day Drinks’…. any excuse for a drink or two! 🙂

But this is not uncommon. Many people don’t have a partner to share Valentines Day and you know what… there’s nothing wrong with this! The love can still be shared amongst friends and family and ofcourse your secret crush.

I also wanted to send a message out to those that have lost their partner over the years. I just want to let you know that I care deeply for you and I can only imagine what it would be like to lose your closest loved-one. If I could spread my love and give you a hug I would.

I wanted to share the love with you as best as I could, but not only that, I want to make it easy for you to be able to share your love with those closest to you.

The Best Quotes About Love… of All Time

This week, I share with you the Best Quotes About Love of All Time… in fact, I provide you with the Top 50!

I hope you enjoy. I’ve even enabled you to quickly and easily spread the love by adding a ‘tweet this’ button next to each quote. Let’s share the love!

  1. Good day! This is my first comment here so I just wanted to give a
quick shout out and tell you I truly enjoy reading your
blog posts. Can you suggest any other blogs/websites/forums that cover the same topics?
    Thanks a lot!

  2. Fantastic list, but why only be romantic on Valentine’s day, let’s keep it up all year =)
One of my favorite quotes comes from a foreign writer and in English it becomes something like:
“There is a seed of a man in you, and a droplet of a woman in me – together we become crazy beautiful.”
    Thanks again Brendan,
    -Matthew M. McEwan

  3. “A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous.” Why have I read this quote only now? It’s awesome and perfect, I just love it, and…oh, now I’m at a loss for words… can I kiss someone instead? 🙂

    1. Hahaha, yes indeedy it’s a good one!

I’ll let you kiss someone else around here! 😛

  4. Many great quotes here. I posted some stuff from Aristotle in my last post, and I really like the quote you shared, “Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.”

    1. Hey Eric,

Aristotle has some awesome quotes… I like your work. And that quote you chose has to be my fav 🙂

  5. “I never liked the men I loved and never loved the men I liked.” ~ Fanny Brice

  6. No.10 is my favorite, Brendan. Great list. And of course “Love conquers all!”
    Thanks for the awesome compilation!
