Christmas is here!!!
Wow, wow, WOW! Did I say, wow? Seriously, I can not believe how fast this year has gone. It’s been absolutely MENTAL (in a good way 🙂  )
I’m going to keep this post short and sweet as I know you are spending quality time with your family and loved ones this week. In saying that, I do have a Christmas gift for you.
Today, as my Christmas gift to you, I’m giving you the chance to win free access to the Launch Your Life Academy. More on that below.
What Are You Giving Yourself This Christmas?
Christmas is a time to spend with family and to share your love with those that are closest to you in your life. A big part of showing this appreciation and showing your love is in the form of gifts… no surprise there.
However, this Christmas, I also want you to think about yourself. How are you showing appreciation and love for the things that you have done this year and for who you are as a person?
I always think it’s nice to give yourself a little gift at Christmas. It’s kind of like a pat on the back for just being who you are and progressing in life.
This year, I’ve given myself a subscription to Adobe Premiere Pro (yes a little geeky). It’s some video editing software. I feel videos  are now one of the most effective ways of getting a message across and I want to develop my own ability in being able to talk in front of the camera and I also want to be able to provide you with some great quality content in video format. So get ready for some more videos from me (albeit shocking at first! )… but that’s all part of expanding my own comfort zone!
So, I want you to think about what can you do for yourself or what can you get for yourself this Christmas that will help you reach your larger goals in life? By the time you read this it might be too late to get something for yourself that you can open on Christmas day, but there’s plenty of opportunity in the last few days of the year (and some country’s have some amazing sales) and this can be a perfect opportunity for you to get yourself something nice that can help you kick start the New Year in style.
What’s a nice gift that will help you progress you towards where you want in life?
Short Video Message For You
Utilizing my new love for video, please watch this short video I put together for you this Christmas.
And yes… I am wearing a dorky little beanie and a singlet and making a fool of myself :)… I live in Sydney, Australia and it is 35 degrees Celsius today (95 Fahrenheit)! I have never had a white Christmas in my life… only beach Christmas’. Something for my own bucket list!

Hey there are using WordPress for your site platform?
I’m new to the blog world but I’m trying to get started and set up my
own. Do you require any html coding knowledge to make your own blog?
Any help would be really appreciated!
My biggest goal for 2014 is to create a momentous self-discipline to study daily and not only do well in the classes ahead, but to enjoy and retain the information I’m learning in order to cement a solid foundation of the basic knowledge to succeed in my future career. Plan, organize, push myself when it gets tough and succeed in each of the steps necessary to get into the 2015 Nursing Program. Get it Done!
Hi Brendan
Great website!
My 2014 goal is to establish ways for me and my team to become more efficient and effective at our job – and to leverage from that to create a potential promotion opportunity!
I would also like to see the Australian cricket team continue the good work shown in the recent tests and to perform at a high standard all year!
Happy new year!
Cheers
Geoff
Brendan – like Kendra I love your site and all the content you offer for free! Even if people just used that alone there is enough there to change their life. However, I understand that it is easier when you are accountable to someone else and we all need support to keep going when faced with challenges.
So…..My biggest goal for 2014 is to establish a retreat for 3 and 5 day health cleanses with workshops that educate people how to follow an alkaline diet to prevent cancer and many other diseases.
New Year = New Beginnings – may we all attract new opportunities that enable us to live our dreams! Happy New Year Brendan 🙂
Lisa.
Hey Brendan, merry christmas buddy!
My biggest goal for 2014 is to earn 5k € per month so that I can stop worrying about money and paying the bills. I’ll do that by starting a dropshipping business, increasing my coaching and I’m also somehow torn towards trading.
We’ll see how that goes 😉
All the best,
Jan
Hey Jan! Thanks and a huge Merry Christmas to you too (although it’s past!)…
It sounds like it’s going to be a BIG year for you! I’m really excited to see where you take things this year… I’ll definitely be keeping tabs 😀
Hi Brendan,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you. Thanks for the video and looking forward to more in 2014!
My goal for 2014 is to allow myself to be who I am and focus on being true to myself. Hopefully I can inspire others to do the same.
Wishing everyone an awesome 2014!
Be safe,
Nadine xoxo
Hi Nadine, what a great goal to have… it’s always best to be true to yourself. It’s the only way to living with no regrets. Fantastic 🙂
Good luck and I look forward to a big 2014 with you!
Was so happy when I discovered your site and your great posts! Thank you! For 2014 my goal is to be able to spread more happiness in this world through my brand new coaching business. Thanks again for all of your great posts and emails!
I wish you all the best with the coaching business Kendra. Coaching is one of the fastest ways to business but adding value and helping other people do their thing. I really look forward to hearing the progress you make. Keep me posted 🙂
Merry Christmas!!
Next year I’m starting my own English Tutoring business and I plan to have 10 clients by the end of the year! I know it’s going to be tough, but I’m looking forward to being a part of the Launch Your Life Academy! 🙂
Wow, what a fantastic goal, Mel!
That’s amazing to hear… adding some real value to society and starting a business. I’m sure you have what it takes and I wish you all the very best on your journey. I look forward to seeing you inside the Academy! 🙂

Thank you so much for all the great content you have provided this year. It’s been fantastic!
In 2014 my goal is to compete in a triathlon. This will help with my health and it’s something that I have always wanted to do.
Merry Christmas!
Hi everyone,
@Brendan: Thanks for an awesome video – Made me laugh ;o)
@Felicity: What an absolute amazing idea. Triathlon is a big part of my own life and you’ll love the lifestyle. I’d love to give you guidance if you need any assistance. I completed Copenhagen Ironman in August – Awesome feeling.
Merry Christmas :o)
haha, glad you liked it, Anders 🙂
I did a triathlon last year and I loved it! (although it was only a sprint triathlon so the distances were quite short 🙂 )
I’d love to hear your journey on this one. I’m all for health and fitness so please keep me posted!
Good luck with the training 🙂
Build my own house.
Hey Wilson!
LOVE it! I would love to be able to build my own house. That’s an awesome goal to have. I wish you all the very best for making it happen… I’d love to hear how it all goes.
I plan to actually start on writing that book that’s been brewing in my head for two years now.
It’s time JP! Books never write themselves. It’s time to make the time to write that book 🙂 This is it!
Nice post brendan.well..my goal for 2014 is to stop putting things off and to unleash my full potential.also i plan to devote some more time to writing as it is something i love doing.
Awesome to hear, Surbhji. Procrastination can be a killer and getting your priorities right can help dramatically.
I look forward to hearing what you do differently in 2014 to ensure it’s a success!
Happy holidays Brendan! My big goal for 2014 is to strengthen my mindset for success and defeat the procrastination monster once and for all!
Thanks, Shelley! Happy holidays to you too 🙂
It’s all about mindset… mindset is EVERYTHING. Procrastination is a killer of all success… let’s make sure you smash that away in 2014! 🙂
My goal is to start a blog teaching health and fitness. I find there are loads of fitness blogs but none that really go into the science of it all and i want to tackle it from this angle 🙂
LOVE it, Jason!
I couldn’t agree more. I’m all for the technical and scientific side of health and fitness. I LOVE learning about that so I’m keen to hear your progress on this one!
Brendan
What a great idea!
My goal for 2014 is to regain my energy levels. I feel my energy has dipped dramatically in the past few months and I’d love to increase my energy to be able to do the things I love, more often!
loved this post. Your Happiness manifesto is so cool. But anyways,The one thing I will do in 2014 is to get my Writing Schedule down packed.
luv ya.
Hi Jacqueline,
Thanks for the kind message about the Happiness Manifesto! I’m glad you love it 🙂
Writing can be HARD! Don’t I know it 🙂 Are you an author? I know you’re ready for it… let’s knuckle down that schedule!
Hi Natalie,
You’re not alone! It’s common for energy levels to drop and there’s some good techniques to help you regain that energy… I’m sure you’ll be able to find it in the New Year!
